Key differences from classic SIP:
- Wool is non-combustible (A1 class) and “breathable”;
- Provides better sound insulation;
- Requires a additional framing system, as it is not a load-bearing element like EPS SIP.
Technical specification:
- Total thickness: 124, 174 or 224 mm;
- Construction: 2 x 12 mm OSB-3 boards + 100, 150 or 200 mm stone wool thermal insulation (high density);
- Panel dimensions: 1.25x2.50 m;
- Insulation dimensions: 1.20x2.40 m (50 mm joint groove at the top and bottom, 25 mm joint grooves on the sides);
- Thermal conductivity: Ensures a low U-value that meets energy-efficient and passive house standards;
- Application: External walls, load-bearing partitions, roofs and floor/ceiling structures.
